My lawn irrigation system was installed 1 year ago, but they kept stalling the installation date. In March I was notified by the City of Puyallup that JAC never notified them that the system was installed and that I would "need a blackflow prevention system." That was part of the original contract. I contacted JAC on 3 separate occasions and was told they would send me a copy of the backflow test from 2013--never received. Two months later I received a bill for $90 for a backflow test that was performed in March 2014. I sent a copy to the city. In May I tried to run a test of the system before turning it on for the season. It did not work. I called JAC twice and finally talked to Jesse who said he would send someone out. It turns out the water had been turned off, but when a test of the system was run 6 sprinkler heads were not working properly. The repairman was not going to replace them and said someone else would have to do that; however, I asked him to call Jesse (owner) because I was still under a warranty. He o.k.'d the repair and replaced the sprinkler heads without charge. However, on Saturday--1 year plus 3 weeks--zone 1 failed and would not shut off. I have called JAC, but they have not returned my calls. I have called another service to see if I can get a repair since I cannot use the system at all.
