We hired Florentino and his son Alex to build a cement block outdoor staircase and retaining wall, based on their professionalism, expertise, and price quote thousands of dollars (20%-60%+) lower than multiple other licensed contractor estimates. Most impressive was Alex's collaboration on materials and design in planning how the stairs should look, and his dad Florentino's expert experience for installing them solidly and cleanly. At all points of the process, Alex was responsive and polite by phone, text, and email, and we appreciated his detailed written quotes that let us understand exactly what we'd be paying for and receiving, across multiple related work items.
