We recently used Auto Tech to double-check lists of recommended repairs from local dealerships on both of our cars. They found that the dealer had missed notifying us of needed maintenance on one of our vehicles and gave good advice about the items on the list. For the other vehicle, a different dealer had recommended $3800 worth of work for 5 jobs, 4 of which had no basis, and the 5th job did need doing but perhaps only because of sabotage by the crooked dealer which Auto Tech alerted us to. Auto Tech performed the work for $300 less than the dealer and saved us $3500 on the other bogus jobs. When we came to pick up our car after hours, they had even wrapped the key fob in foil so the car could wait securely locked for us to come with another key fob. *No one else* in 8 years of having this car has ever cared about the key fob issue even when we point it out - which in this case we hadn't.

They are very thorough in examining the car, looking for and resolving problems, and explaining what the issues are and proposing solutions. They are clear on what needs immediate attention and what can wait and explaining costs. Work is done quickly and completely and they stand behind the work.
