I've used Duvall for several jobs. They did well with everything except diagnosing an HVAC issue. They attempted several fixes but, in the end, a whole new system was needed. They credited the prior work to the replacement cost. On a recent hot water heater estimate, I was not told that expansion tanks are now required by code and that some companies will not honor the water heater warranty if an expansion tank is not installed. I would use them again, but only after getting estimates and information from other suppliers.

I emailed a few plumbers I found on Checkbook and asked for quotes to replace my outdoor spigot/hose bib. Duvall replied first, asked for some more information and provided a quote. The others I contacted either asked me to call (didn't want to do) or gave me a significantly higher quote. I decided to give Duvall a shot since they rated so well on Checkbook. Scheduling was a little rocky because they missed my email where I told them I wanted to move forward and schedule the job. I followed up a month later and they put me on their schedule. The team showed up and got right to work. Pricing was the same as the quote. Team gave me some recommendations for other work that they noticed should be done. They gave quick estimates and I declined because I was not ready to do those things. They understood and did not push me further. Their work seems good and they were pleasant to deal with. I would hire them again for plumbing assuming their estimate is competitive.

It took 3 visits for them to replace 2 cartridges in a bathroom faucet even though they knew what the problem was before arriving the first time.
