My mother lived at Birmingham Green nursing home (Manassas, VA) for the last three years of her life. She needed a lot of care, and the staff was excellent at providing that care. They kept me informed of all issues and changes. The staff was professional and genuinely concerned about my mother's well-being. They did a great job engaging her in activities to the extent she was able to participate. My mother was treated with respect and kindness. If you are looking for a nursing home with white table cloths, wine, and gourmet food, this is probably not the place for you. The food is nutritious, plentiful and good. But if you are looking for a professional staff that has your loved one’s best interests in mind, I would highly recommend this nursing home.
