My Yorkie puppy was returned to me very malnourished (very bony) and was reeking. This was the worst kennel experience I’ve ever had. They treat the animals terribly, and the prices are extremely high.

I think they are pretty expensive but when I picked up my dog he was the happiest he had ever been when boarded. I believe they give great and personalized care to the animals, it means a lot to me. wish they had pick up drop off on Sundays though, don't know why not

My kennel for over 15 years closed due to Covid. I had counted on being able to board my senior dog, who knew no other kennel. Seneca is advertised as the premier dog and cat kennel in McLean/Great Falls. We asked to board our senior dog due to an unfortunate failure at our animal hospital to provide adequate care and medication. Bingo -- at Seneca we paid more and received less. I was not advised that I could drop off our beloved 16 year old Bichon (average life expectancy 16-19 years) at 7 am for an extra fee and would have gladly done so. I arrived before 8 am and provided specific written instructions -- for food and medication -- all labeled. I should have been forewarned. Staff seemed indifferent of the need to refrigerate a three days supply of lettuce and carrots - healthy treats our senior dog needs to avoid the temptation to eat grass and to eliminate regularly -- something I believed would be in the interest of kennel as well as an owner. I believe that my dog was fed, but am not sure she received the kibble I provided. The additional fresh vegetables I provided (for a three day stay) were returned. The medications? Also not provided. I paid for extras. Were they actually delivered? The facility is suffering financially -- the retail store was in closeout. Not unexpected, but did not give me a good feeing as a first time customer. I would not return.
