I needed an exterior wooden gate repaired. The first appraiser from Jim the Handyman arrived while I was at work and sent me an estimate with pictures - of someone else's gate! How he gave a repair estimate for a gate that was not broken, I don't know. I was home when the second appraiser came (after both an e-mail and a phone call) and ensured that he understood what needed done. The team came late the next day to do the work. I checked when they said they were finished and found that a number of screws had not been put in and a board was left sticking out, not flush with the door. They fixed these issues before I paid them. I stuck with Jim because I couldn't get another handyman to respond and Jim's team was quite prompt. So, use them but explicitly explain what you want done (granular detail) and inspect the work carefully before paying them.
