Nonantum provides excellent, practical and holistic approach to pet health care. They care. Despite there being several veterinary offices within 10 minutes of home, we drive 45 minutes to Nonantum because we have experienced nothing but high quality care and service.

It's sometimes like an assembly line. They seem to overbook the appt.

Debby Roberts was one of the founders of Nonantum. She died 7 years ago of cancer but made explicit plans that this should stay a country vet, not a chain moneymaker. Her husband has made sure that those plans are still followed and we have had wonderful treatment from everyone we have seen. We are there more often now as our bichon is old and has cancer. They are working with a care plan of meds but nothing invasive. We would have spent around $2000 to have him seen at a vet near us but to be hands on with him and the empathy they show as well as the expertise and money we have saved cannot be beat. We paid $435 for an ER visit for this issue last week. Meds, blood work and emergency fit in.
