Jim Adams, of Kensington Handyman Services, did a superior job getting our place "winterized" on 10-25-2024. Jim fixed a a large weather-proofing board in our garage to ensure that we would not feel any drafts in the adjoining room in our house. For this area, he used drywall compound, painted the area when dry, and also used caulking around the edges of the board. He also removed a thin board that was getting rot, near our storm door in the laundry room and replaced it with fiber glass material of the same size & then painted this area to match the surrounding area. Joe also installed weather strips on the bottom of four doors to eliminate drafts before the cold winter winds arrive. We are in the midst of the coldest part of the winter, and everything feels comfortable. Thank you Joe!

Jim Adams has been to our house twice to solve several small carpentry problems. This last time he squeezed us in between other appointments because the problem was urgent. Came up with a good solution to a problem with an exterior door we found intractable. Very reasonably priced, friendly and an all-around good guy. We'll use him again.
