While the ac maintenance cost is fixed beforehand, any repairs or fixes are at highway robbery prices. Replacing a 60 dollar starter cap(their suppposed price, surely not the cost), was $450 for a 10min labor. This was more than the yearly maintenance charge by far for 2 hvac units.

Their service contract appears to be a vehicle to upsell service. Each visit resulted inrecommendations for additional service costs far beyond norm...all this for a system that they designed and installed. We have spent significantly more with them than others do with much older systems.
