Very knowledgeable about what they were doing. Just that the pricing was very high. But overall a good company.

Customer service was polite and professional. She explained the process clearly and then asked if we had any questions regarding the service. Scheduling the repair appointment date was okay (of course we would have preferred it to be the next day), but was satisfactory as it wasn't a critical emergency.

Everything about this company is inferior. My husband had worked in appliance repair for Sears for 30 years. When they went out of business A & E took over all the Maintenance agreements/contracts. Last summer our window air conditioner was not working well, so I called for a service call. On the day scheduled for the call, the call was cancelled by A & E. I was instructed to schedule another appointment, which I did. The service tech cleaned it a little and said to call back if there was still a problem. It still didn’t cool properly so I scheduled again. On the day of the appointment, the technician called at the end of the day to say he couldn’t come. I was too aggravated to call back and the unit continued to barely cool. This year I called in late May for a service call. Two guys diagnosed the problem and ordered 3 parts to be shipped to us and another service call was scheduled. On the day of the scheduled repair, another service tech called to say that the guys scheduled wouldn’t be able to fix it since they didn’t have the proper tools. He said he would come a few weeks later. Two other guys showed up and put the parts in, then discovered rust on the unit. They removed all the parts and said they would see if the rusted part was still available, and if not, the unit would be replaced at no cost. I spent 1-1/4 hours on the phone with 5 departments to see when repair or replacement would be made since it had already been more than 2 weeks since I was told the part would be available or the unit replaced. I am now waiting the 3-5 days it will take to for them to decide on resolution. Their phone system is absolutely anti-customer service oriented. Each option comes with 3-7 different options. I kept trying options until I finally talked to the 5 people. A service call was originally scheduled for today but that won’t happens since a decision hasn’t been made on whether the part is available. If this is ever completed, I’m going to cancel the remaining 3 years of the contract and get a refund and never deal with them again.
