Our heating seemed to be struggling a bit and we called Ibbotson. The service rep. came and informed us we probably had a freon leak, recommended he inject dye into the system to detect the leak, but said he would have to wait for warmer weather to trace the dye. We made another appointment for the spring when the rep. returned and said the leak was in a part unique to Trane, was very expensive, and that we should consider replacing the HVAC system. When we told him we would instead like a price for the necessary Trane part, he stated he would need to talk to his supervisor who would telephone us "within a day or two" with the price. We never received a return call.
