The last time I used this plumber was the last straw for me. I had them come out to unclog my kitchen sink. They came out and completely disassembled the trap and rebuilt it. However, they didn't have the replacement parts needed so they had to go to a hardware store to get them. The original trap was installed by a Johnson plumber some years ago and never caused a problem. Then told me I had a leak in the drain pipe and they needed to cut open the wall. After the two plumbers spend 4 hours at the house screwing around with my sink they gave me a bill for $1,300! To just unclog a sink???? I refused to pay it and eventually settled with them for $500. I will NEVER use them again. I appears that H D Johnson has undergone a change in management.

We were out of town and I told my daughter to check the times the plumber came into the house and when he left which was exactly 47 minutes. After the job was done the plumber said he would write up the bill, he sat in the truck for 21 minutes. The total billed for was for 75 minutes we were charged for the 4 minutes the truck sat out front before the plumber came in, the work he did, the 21 minutes he sat in the truck writing up the bill, and the 3 minutes until the truck left. When I called to complain the person put me on hold and said the GPS records showed the truck was there for 75 minutes and that's how they bill. I said after the work was done the plumber was in the truck for 21 minutes, they lied and said it wasn't that long. I said my daughter wrote down the times, they said they bill on GPS location times. I questioned the supplies charge of $100.00 and said there were no supplies the plumber just unclogged the drain. They said the charge was for the use of equipment to unclog the drain. I said that's crazy we pay a fee for your plumber to use your owned equipment, she said yes.
