This dance center offers a variety of dance classes, with excellent instruction, for adults (I believe they have satellite lessons elsewhere in the area for children), and an intensive teen program. The studios are old-world: tall ceilings, windows, and mirrors, with Marley floors; at the time of this writing, some of the barres need new brackets. Kathy Mata teaches beginning ballet classes, although they are more beginning-intermediate level. So newcomers to ballet might benefit from starting with a basic class, taught by Sally Miramon.
