Dr. Savukinas is a great dentist, very respectful, and gentle. But it is hard to get appointments (regular cleanings are booked eight months out). He doesn't have a hygienist, so he does everything himself, which explains the scheduling issues. He also doesn't take many insurance carriers. He recently dropped my carrier but didn't give me a heads up. I went to my regularly scheduled appointment and was told a few weeks later that they dropped my insurance and I'd have to pay out of pocket. A notification when the insurance was dropped and before my appointment would have been helpful. I'm now stuck with the bill. So, great dentist, but not so great business practices.
