It's 7/11/24. Yes indeed. Dr. Robert Barnett has retired as per other reviews here.

READ THIS REVIEW. Young dentists face stiff competition in this area so fresh grads are often obliged to join or buy dental offices where they can afford the sizable office, equipment rental and advertising expenses. Checkbook.org however, rightly lists and rates dentists only by name of individual dentists. On Checkbook, Robert Barnett’s phone number and website is linked to Jessica Weber. She apparently bought in when Barnett went into retirement and quit taking new patients. Well, I needed to fix loose dentures quick. Dr. Barnet, was highly rated on Checkbook, org and cheap (45% less than average). AND he took my (Kaiser) dental insurance AND I could get an appointment right away. I jumped at the chance, but when I showed up I found not Dr Barnett, but Jessica Weber, a complete unknown without any Checkbook presence at all. Once ensconced in the chair Weber examined me and promised to research it by contacting my previous dentist, who recently moved and now lives off in Virginia. She told me that “we” (presumably including the departed Dr Barnett) “no longer” took my medical insurance, although she insisted that she had attempted “many times” to correct the error with Kaiser (a $500 difference for me). But she hadn’t “corrected” her apparent affiliation with Dr Barnett on Checkbook.org, either. Dr Weber let me go with no charge, but other dentists might not be so generous. The very common “dental office” system can be what amounts to a “bait-and-switch” scam that we all should be aware of. Dr Weber may be a perfectly good dentist, but there’s no way I can tell.
