Went online to open a savings account. Went through process, said had to contact a person. Two business days later, person responded. Had some questions (like, why can't this be done online, why do I need to come down to a branch - hour round trip + parking in covid). No answer. No answer. I look up another bank, in two business days (including linking another account to xfer money) I'm done. two business days later (total of 7 business days) Sound CB gets back to me 'hey, sorry, didn't get back to you. Are you still interested?'. Still didn't answer my questions, but is moot now. Responded I found another bank. Obviously, working with customers and potential customers is not a priority for this bank. You find the core values of a company when they are working with a 'small' customer.

We first used Sound Community Bank for a property that other banks and credit unions either wouldn't finance or had unfavorable rates. Now Sound is our go-to mortgage lender. Craig Tudor has consistently come through with financing packages that meet our needs, both for personal and investment properties.
