the sleezy general contractor sub-contracted with Dr. Cool....and refused to use the reliable HVAC company their bid was THOUSANDS less.Dr Cool installed the WRONG unit(bait and switch)in addition the unit is oversized (another up charge) it's a 3 ton....a 1/12 ton is more than adequate for 700 square feet. the installed the noisy furnace in the attic above my bedroom(noisy thru the night) and the loud heat pump outside the other bedroom so loud my neighbor hears it running. the 1st month i called them and was told it would be $180...service fee FOR A NEW INSTALL??? this unit never ran properly causing hire electric bills...2 years later the heat pump needs to be replaced DR COOL will not stand behind their work. In addition they did not register the system as required. The manufacturer stated my 5yr/10yr warranty is VOID!!! NOW IVE BEEN WITHOUT HEAT for over a year, Oh and NO PERMITS!!!

My heat pump stopped working during our recent cold weather. Todd, from Dr Cool, came and fixed it on a Sunday and charged a very reasonable rate. Very good company to deal with.
