Carter Subaru was able to do an oil and filter change without an appointment in about 30 minutes and at a reasonable price. They have dropped the fee for using a credit card (“a failed experiment” is how the service advisor described it).

they did a routine maintenance for me. I find the service staff very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. They let me know how much it would cost and how long. They also checked a battery for me which I found hard to hold a charge, they found the battery fine and fully charged and let me know that the reason I couldn't charge it, was that the computer system needed an upgrade. So my complaint is not about the repair service, but the lack of knowledge that my car would stop working without an upgrade-- missed two appointments that day. I blame Subaru

Have only had warranty work and oil changes done here. Its a busy place, staff pleasant and competent, free loaners often available. Prices somewhat higher than independent shops as expected.
