Have used home depot for several purchases and have not had any issues

I did my own research into the washer/dryer that we wanted to purchase, looking up different resources online, calling various stores (and equally important - appliance repair techs). I chose Home Depot because they had the items available, had good prices, and we needed them quickly. We were able to schedule a delivery within a few days, which included installation. Purchasing the items in-store was tedious, because of limited staff availability. I called to be sure someone would be there, but when I arrived, they'd gone to dinner, and nobody was there to cover for them. So I had to come back the following morning. When I finally connected with someone, they were friendly, although they had no bearing on my purchasing decisions. The installers left a mess of styrofoam debris in the street, handprints on the doorway they came through and didn't properly level the washer or dryer. I'd leveled appliances before, so I just took care of it rather than call them to come back. A week or so later, Home Depot dropped the price on the items, I called the store, and they refunded the difference.

Last December went looking to replace a 35 year old drop-in stove. Home Depot had a limited assortment of items on display. Replacing the drop-in would require modifications to the counter, and H. D. could not provide the service.
