Incredibly expense. For an expansion tank replacement, they tried to charge me for almost the cost I had to purchase + install the water heater a few years back. After declining the service twice, eventually they came down almost half price. But left a bit of a mess, with insulation thrown on the ground, and tried to upsell me on replacing a valve.

Reviewed on BBB. Quoted $6570.00 to replace a Taco circulation pump on a home hydronic system. Came with "senior discount" for $5570 and "membership" for free inspection visits. My estimate included pieces already installed on boiler wall. Called something like, "Premium Pro Recirculation Pump Renovation." Also tried to get me to replace another that work working. I checked suppliers online and even w/40% markup, supplies would be under $1,000. Plumber said his hrly rate was $595/hr. Then I called the engineer who sold me the system and bought his pump for $700 and with his support via text, I installed it myself in 2hrs being extra careful. I am 75yo. w/ avg. homeowner plumbing skills. My total cost: $700 vs. $6,570
