We called Brian Tinsley to see if he would figure out why our chimney was leaking. After a thorough examination Brian could not find any obvious cause. He suggested as a best guess that the chimney needed resealing. He did the job, and our chimney hasn't leaked since. Figuring out how to proceed when the cause of the problem isn't obvious is a sign of a master craftsman. That's how I would describe Brian Tinsley.

Very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Gives good advice for ongoing maintenance. While Brian was working on one chimney, I called up to him on the roof and asked him to perform a task on another chimney. Instantly agreed. There was no need to negotiate. The final invoice included a surprisingly small amount above the quoted price for the original job.

Brian was an excellent communicator and a superior craftsperson. Very knowledgeable, he shares his expertise and recommendations freely. We are more than pleased with how beautifully he restored our chimney and expect it will last another 100 years.
