I requested a consultation and was explicit in advance of scheduling an appointment that I was looking for a one-time consultation to obtain targeted horticultural/plant selection advice in a limited "problem" area of my garden. During the consultation, despite my repeated reminders of the specific advice I was looking for, he kept talking about hardscape design in the areas of the yard I had NOT asked for advice on. It felt like I was paying the designer to gawk at my house and, after two hours, I received zero actionable advice on the problems I was trying to solve.
