I placed my first order with The Flower Lady for the first time on Jan 11. The delivery guy insisted on talking to my girlfriend even though she was on an important phone call. Also, a couple of stems were broken when delivered. I contacted Vivian Darst (manager?? owner??) who volunteered to make things better,. She sent additional flowers, which was nice.

On Feb 12, I needed to order some more flowers. My order was to be delivered on Monday but they were not delivered at all. I called the next day and talked with Don. I did not ask for any compensation but he volunteered to have something sent out that day (Tue Feb 14). However, nothing was sent. I called the next day and was assured something would be delivered to my home in Snohomish County on Wed or at the UW on Thursday at the absolute latest. Again, nothing was delivered on either day. I contacted Vivian, which was my fourth or fifth time to get it resolved. She responded by stating the flowers had been delivered on "the 14th" (even though I had requested the 13th). I informed her of my 3 or 4 times I communicated with Don and how he had 'volunteered' to make things better. She did not respond.

I am very aware that mistakes are made and part of everyday life. Nordstrom makes mistakes but is still a great, great store! My complaint is that the Flower Lady VOLUNTEERED to make up for their mistake but did not follow through.
