Initial visits were useful and there was a lot of value in them. When our dog matured, we had additional concerns regarding separation/enclosure anxiety that we were trying to mitigate within a narrow window of our dog's young developmental years, so hired the trainer again for specific work on that. It felt like we were on separate pages the whole time during that session. Not seeing the results after doing the work, we were looking for more info, and perhaps different info on how to support our dog to get better at being left alone. The guidance seemed lackluster, uninformative and a waste of our time and money. We could've been ok with responses like, "Well, maybe your dog responds better without a barrier" or "Let's revisit this after 2 months, meanwhile, keep working on x,y,z and we'll come up with some contingencies" but the last visit was discouraging and we've been sorting it out on our own.
