Chimcare Seattle - No Show 1st time / Drastically over priced the 2nd time.. Aqua equip was closed and referred us to Chimcare and so we booked an appointment based on the referral, even though they stated they could not quote a price until they arrived to "evaluate" My wife made the appointment, received a 4 hour window (9 am- 1 pm) and was called the morning of the apt. to let her know someone was on the way. After 2 hours they informed her that the person scheduled for the job was ..... on vacation?? Baffling, very very baffling. An follow-up apt was made for 2 days later and my wife was assured that they would arrive at 9 am. The home was vacant and so rather than show up and wait again, we asked them to call us when they arrived. This time they arrived on time at 9 am. After sharing the code, I decided to head over and found that they had already finished the job and had left. The time, 9:25 am. They did a basic vacuum of gas fireplace ( The invoice was line itemed as though 3 major areas were vacuumed), then cleaned the glass and tested it by hitting the on switch. The fireplace had already worked, we just needed the interior and glass cleaned.. The fireplace measures 3 feet long by 2 ft wide for a total of Six square feet and the job obviously took less than 25 min. We received an email with a bill totalling nearly $400, $350 + tax!! NEVER EVER AGAIN. I hate being ripped off.

Nothing fun about house repairs. But Chimcare was up front, very professional and efficient. They weren't able to fix one of my issues right away but are right on top of it to fix a fairly complex problem. Very happy.
