Not Recommended
The inability to see in 3-D what one's home/remodel will look like is NOT a good thing. Major and minor issues with this. A quick look at a model would have worked and solved problems. Taking away a deck and replacing it with a window is NOT the same as creating a new deck the same size and re-using the same French door. Creating a kitchen window with a blocked view is NOT a good idea. Telling the owners that their ideas are NOT a good idea because the house being remodeled is NOT their home is NOT a good idea. Having paid a lot of up-front money only to discover these inadequacies is really very sad, and a good reason to end services. However, that leaves the owners with many decisions to make without the help of an architect. GRRRRR

We did a major home remodel 5 years ago. Miles designed and oversaw the entire project. There isn't a day that goes by that we aren't thankful that Miles was the project architect and manager.
