This facility has a faulty appointment notification system. If it goes to your answering machine, it just keeps repeating until the time runs out on your machine. When I asked them to take me off this system, at first they did not comply. When their machine called me again, I called them and I was told they could not take me off their system UNLESS I was willing to pay $50 for any missed appointments. I pointed out that this was not explained up front and to just cancel my appointments and I would go to a different Physical Therapist. The supervisor called me back and told me they would not release me unless I came in for another appointment and that Medicare would not pay another PT unless they released me. I called Medicare and learned that this was NOT true. I hate being lied to. This was just an attempt to get one more insurance payment for doing nothing!!!
