I have always wanted to grow my own food but I never knew where to start or where to even put a garden on my property, Gardinista Sarah came out and she was an absolute delight. She not only found a perfect location on my property for my new garden but she drew up a plan after I told her what I was interested in growing and began turning that drawing into a garden the next day. After she got the ground ready for seed I joined her in my new garden and she showed me how to plant seed and also how to plant clones. She explained the importance of companion planting and designed the garden in a way so that the deer that often visit our yard couldn't intrude. She also gave me the option of either she will teach me how to take care of my garden from after we planted the seed with occasional check ins to make sure I am doing okay or she would continue taking care of it herself all the way through until we harvest. I asked her if she would do it with me to build my confidence and she had no problem, we ended up getting a huge yield when we just had our harvest. Which Sarah made the harvest so much fun for the kids and I. I also needed some general contracting done around the property and since she has her general contacting license, Sarah and her husband Shaun came out and finished that for me as well. I believe it is only the two of them getting their business started, but I highly recommend Homegrown Organic Gardens to anyone that has always wanted to grow their own food but just never knew where to start. And I am now comfortable enough to continue the garden with Sarah's Gardening Assistant Plan which is a membership where Sarah will help me every step of the way.
