Selected "not recommended" only because despite Wilderness's high ratings, the company is of no value for Seattleites, because it doesn't serve the most populous city in King County. This isn't the first time I've come across this phenomenon. For various reasons some contractors who say they serve King County in fact exclude Seattle. When Consumers' Checkbook contacts companies for its Puget Sound ratings, it would be very helpful if they would ask those claiming to operate in King County whether they provide service in Seattle.

I am remodeling the first floor. I had several questions about my electrical needs and Steve walked me through each item with clear, honest advice. His knowledge of current building codes and product innovations was extremely useful. Top notch in every way, especially Steve's demeanor. And he replied to my request the same day. I won't need to look any further for an electrician.
