This is a chain and I wasn't sure what to expect. I wanted a dent removed from my trombone and a general clean-up. They do send repairs out to a central location but my trombone came back so much better. They re-corked and improved the mechanism on my spit valve and the slide feels like new. I am thinking of taking in a second instrument with no real problem to see how much better it can be.
