Contract said they would repair weak spots in the roof on a time and material basis. Ayear and a half after installation I had a handyman clean the roof. He said there were about 5 weak spots in the roof. I contacted DHughes they said it was due to the old plywood in those spots. I reminded them that the contract was for them to replace structural defects they found on a time and material basis. I was then unable to contact them despite complaints filed at the BBB, who they didn't respond to and only after contacting the Washington State Consumer Affairs did they return my call. Their response was that I should wait for the roof to fail and then file a warranty claim.

We had our roof replaced by D.Hughes about 9 years ago. A few years after the install, we had a warranty question in which we wanted to confirm. We called and left a message several times, but they never returned the calls. Recently we had some storm damage to our roof, so we called D. Hughes several times for them to come out to provide an estimate. (By using them to repair our roof that should retain our roof warranty.) After leaving several voicemail messages, we have still not received a call back. Even though they do a good job installing our roof, their warranty is not worth anything if they never returned our calls.

Small project sun room 1 day job. Tied into existing roof 2 courses, which they installed. Great job no more leaks!
