Is anyone looking for an experienced, honest and certified contractor to install a new deck? We were very fortunate to have had Max - owner of DeckReCover and a Certified Pro installer - resurface our old cedar deck with a new composite material. Max came the day we called, examined our old deck and took the time to explain what needed to be done. He was the only one among all the bidders to notice the important details: a) a large tree root had caused the deck frame to warp; it needed adjustment; b) there was an electrical outlet in the middle of the old deck that had to be moved; c) the framing was in a good condition and didn't need to be replaced, just sealed. Max provided a detailed quote the next day and after a careful consideration, we awarded the business to him. He exceeded our expectations! To meet our timing needs, Max came the morning the decking materials arrived (Saturday) and single-handedly built the new deck incl. adjusting the crooked framing and moving the electrical outlet in just 2 days! In comparison, the other bidders quoted us 8-10 days on average with 2 installers and needed us to hire an electrician. The precision with which the deck was built was equally remarkable. We could tell how much difference it made to work with a certified decking installer. Max had the knowledge, specialized tools and skill to be able to move fast and do the work right. He also worked extremely hard to deliver on his promise to have the deck done within our short timeframe. Max is exceptional at what he does and treats his customers with respect and professionalism.
