I had an oil change done at Klein as Customer of many years. As part of the service it was recommended that I get a front end alignment. I asked to schedule but they wanted a full day. So I went to Kirkland Honda who discovered that I had no need for an alignment. Plus a recall was on my car that Klein never advised me about. I advised Klein of the unneeded recommendation for service and after several phone call they refunded my service charges but still left me doubting them. Not the first time I have had a problem there.

Brought my car to the service department, and it was diagnosed as needing a new transmission. Decided to have the work done at a reputable but less expensive shop. That shop diagnosed the problem as probably a knock sensor malfunction. They replaced the sensor and wire for it at a cost of $480. This fixed the problem and saved my several thousand dollars. I feel this was a pretty serious misdiagnosis. I hope it was an honest error, but in any case, I will be less likely to take me vehicles here again.
