The opening of the Kids Foundation Academy was apparently delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The owners and staff all wear masks and have hand sanitizer available everywhere. I was excited to visit when I saw how close they were to my place of work near the Swedish Edmonds Campus on 76th Avenue W. I have relatives who will soon be moving to Edmonds, and living close by, with children ages 18 months and 3 years of age. I was very impressed with the owners and their sizeable staff of experienced, pleasant, childcare professionals. Whenever possible, I stop by to observe the children and staff. They are fed healthy meals and snacks during the day and have a balanced program of activities. I can hardly wait to enroll my young family members in the program.
