Everything was great except they did not tell me I had Stage 3 Kidney Disease! They did however tell me my gall bladder was full of gallstones.

This is the shittiest place I have ever been. They treat you inhuman. If you have an addiction, you might as well go somewhere else because you will be treated terribly. I was held down, strapped down and injected with god knows what. I was returned to my wife with broken ribs when I went into the hospital without them. When my wife called to check on me, she was laughed at by the head nurse when they spoke of her husbands addiction. She called to check on him after admitting him with a possible stroke after a car accident. The hospital never called her for information. She wasn’t called when he supposedly went into cardiac arrest. Nor was she called when he needed to be narcanned. Upon release❗️ She finds it weird that a hospital would release him while a patient needed to be Barca Ned and not keep him for further monitoring. This hospital is avoided at all costs though it is the closest to our home. They abused us and laughed at us. I will be reporting this hospital as well as the medics who gave my husband a ride to this hospital. All they saw was an addict. Despite all I told them about my car flipping and my concern for my husband after wrecking. It is routine to ask about addiction by medics and I was honest with them about our addiction problem only because I didnt want any of his medicines to interact with the others. But once I said yes to the addiction problem, they used their own predjudices to ASSUME that addiction had been the REASON behind his wreck. This is dangerous. Hospitals should listen to their patients families. Listen to them about why they are being admitted. And keep them updated on their care. Instead, I had to call to check in. Call back in an hour they’d say. I fell asleep. Called in two. Couldn’t believe all that had happened at the hospital had happened and I wasn’t called once. I will be suing this place . I know many people in the addiction community and THEY ALL AVOID THIS HOSPITAL LIKE THE PLAGUE. They’re website, now naming them as ST ANNES HOSPITAL, lies about the service and experience they provide.

A trip to the emergency room is never fun but the staff here help to put you at ease. They really care about you and listen to you.
