Caltax changed ownership after 2016 and became a more formal an organized operation. Despite my providing information at the last minute they made every effort to make the deadline for submission of my return.

They could do a better job of giving helpful advice - unless you ask something specific, they don't tell you anything. The first time I used them, I had bought a house - they didn't give me anything as far as what could be considered deductions. I had to ask someone else for a list of possible deductions so I'd know what receipts to keep.
