Very happy with the service and customer treatment I got from MER, even as I haven't yet had to 'test' the new system of a new sump, sump pit and french drain system in my 100+ year old cellar. With elevated newer houses nearby, my cellar was more frequently getting moisture in esp with storms becoming more intense; I decided to treat situation and mitigate anxieties about flooding. Put in a call to MER plus two others which did not return my calls. MER however did and I decided to just go with it based on consumer checkbook reviews. The owner, Mike, came out shortly after contact to provide an estimate for his proposed solution to the mess. The work was completed shortly thereafter at what I thought was a very fair price. They made it so easy for me. Mike's folks also noticed an unrelated plumbing issue which, instead of just ignoring it they helped me to get properly resolved. I came away from the whole experience with a system that greatly reduces my worries about cellar flooding and with it, a sense of being treated with a level of fairness, respect and honesty that sometimes feels in too-short supply these days. Highly recommend.

MER Waterproofing is a true expert in groundwater and drainage issues, and their honesty is unmatched. We had a drainage problem where our sump pump discharge was pooling in a neighbor's yard. After receiving expensive proposals from other companies, MER Waterproofing was the only one that accurately diagnosed the problem as a pre-meter water main break—something that didn’t require waterproofing or basement work. Their quick and correct diagnosis saved us thousands of dollars. MER Waterproofing demonstrated exceptional expertise and integrity. Instead of pushing unnecessary services, they prioritized honesty and good business practices. If they could solve our problem so quickly and accurately, I have complete confidence they can fix yours too. Expertise is common, but wisdom like this is rare.
