Fixed design option pushed. Resistance to providing specifics of pressure treated wood if you want a premium top grade ground contact wood you may need to force the issue as they use a minimum rated wood. If you want 2x6 deck boards they will push the common 3/4 deck board. Which is cheaper and less structurally sound. They offer multiple discounts for effect as after the discounts the cost is more than others. They will claim they overbuild the project to last a lifetime which is a waste of unneeded resources for a older house. Received multiple estimates in order to try to document what they were claiming to provide. The more details locked down the higher the quote would become even with the large number of discounts. Designer bragging about buying a new top of the line truck while refusing to lower the cost and price to a reasonable level. (Not too smart). Last quoted price was 56K reduced to 35K with discounts for a 27K project. Got a bad gut feeling so politely confirmed that we could not come to a mutually agreed deal good for all. If you use them know exactly what you want including materials and be very detailed and specific. Do not take anything for granted and good luck.
