Ram Restoration was the name our insurance company gave us for restoration after our dishwasher broke, flooding the kitchen with running all night and down into our basement with pouring water all over my husband's workroom which contained a lifetime of tools and many shelves of memorabilia, albums, photos, collected over 50 years. We had Pro Serve come out to address the water and they were outstanding. Next, I contacted RAM, as recommended by our insurance rep. Project manager was Brandon. He has no PR skills and was always very defensive. I found this contractor and the work that was done the worst experience in the 50 years of home ownership. Every contractor I worked with was outstanding. Every contractor was very appreciative of the respect and care I gave while they were doing work in my home. Every contract was simple and straightforward, I am a thorough researcher, do my homework, made a few changes as needed, worked with insurance for roof, siding, small water leak, and had absolutely NO problems whatsoever. Every contractor did great work. Because of poor quality work I received from RAM I ended any further work, had to hire new contractors, and had to pay out of pocket to do the following: remove grout which was much too shallow for the kind of tile on my floor, sharp edges, not rounded, install 1 tile and fill with grout-doing it right the first time. Two tiles were removed due to cracking from buckling of floorboards after water flood. Crew removed both and installed two new tiles but broke an adjacent tile in the process. Tile is discontinued but I had saved two good tiles for an emergency like this. Did not have a good tile to replace the one the crew broke. I spent a month walking through tile companies, could order a box for $500 and I am sure one of those tiles would have worked, even though they were a different lot. Area is first thing folks see when walking into my kitchen. If a person can hold a hammer that does NOT make them an expert. Just tell the truth Brendon, so I could have weighed my options. That didn't happen. They weren't paint experts either, I spent hours finding a match. Our regular painter would have gotten a match for me and was always perfect. I had to personally remove 40 years of items in the workroom, clean it myself, cleaned all tools, items, brought so many boxes of damaged items to the dump. I am handicapped with a bad hip. No mitigation from RAM for ANY of it. The RAM crew put insulation in the ceiling. I had to climb on a chair and spread it out, it was a rushed job. Left a mess of insulation hanging over my washer and dryer. Again, I had to climb on top of my washer and dryer to secure it properly and I did far better workmanship than the crew. A carpet cleaning crew came to clean our carpets. I had to BEG Brandon to not send carpet cleaners on the same day as fiberglass install because I knew there would be a mess of fiberglass in the workroom and I wanted to clean it up BEFORE carpets were cleaned, otherwise our pets would carry fiberglass particles all through our carpets where our infant and young grandchildren crawl around and play when they visit. Carpet cleaning crew used so much water on our carpets it took two days to dry and dirt from water mitigation remained. It was such a battle with Brandon to negotiate what needed to be done I finally had to ask my adult daughter to intervene on my behalf, and was able to get Brandon to agree to have carpets cleaned on another day, but he was again, so defensive. RAM offered to replace the entire floor. Their work was so sloppy overall there was no way I would have them ruin my kitchen floor and expensive millwork and cabinetry. Office staff was nice, crew were nice and arrived on time but came without a punch list. Said that happened all the time. Never had a contractor come without the necessary materials. They came with no paint, no quarter round, just them, project manager's to communicate with his crew. He also threw them under the bus. They had to rush work at end of day. I was left with molding taped to the kitchen island to keep it in place, and a huge empty area where the tile they broke had been removed. Tripped over it many times. It was this way for months. Hired quality contractors to remove grout and fill properly, put in new tile, secure molding, reclean carpets. I also had to paint all the quarter round myself because I had to terminate contract with RAM. Check out yelp for photos. Other people had similar experiences with this company. Brandon had the gall to say, "It was a pleasure to work with you". He was such a poor PR contractor, knew that wasn't true, and wrote that ridiculous comment. The other two companies we used to correct/finish the work and clean the carpets did an excellent job. Do not hire this company.

This company exclusively works on insurance claims. They were sent instead of an adjuster. The quote took a long time, you can't really talk to anyone there as they have a service that will "pass along a message". When did they call back? After the insurance company approved the claim. So they obviously work for the insurance company, not the insured. I didn't use them and they didn't seem surprised by that.
