We had an original and old walkway of slate settled in compact soil and got some quotes that were quite high in price, for a reinforced concrete slab with slate on top. Most contractors pushed their pathway width on us saying it was the defacto standard we should go with. Pat came by and discussed our needs in a down to earth manner, and already having more reasonable prices for various styles, one included reusing our existing slate, which brought additional savings. He also let me know up-front how the walkway would sit, relative to the ends where it met our porch and driveway, as it needed to have a slight pitch to ensure water ran away from the house. He was able to customize the installation to our needs, curving the walkway just where we wanted it, and keeping the width as we wanted, and did an excellent job. He was so down to earth, honest, and easy to work with that I would hands-down recommend him.

My front steps, made of flagstone, were coming loose and becoming dangerous. Pat, who comes from a long line of masons, came out and cemented them all back in. He did an excellent job, and I will certainly use him again in the future.
