Would not recommend. Spoke several times over a week or two with the company representative answering the phones. Person was very nice and assured me each time that I would get a return phone call to discuss the problem and set up a repair. This never occurred.

This company "fixed" our radon problem some years ago. The test after remediation was barely within the proper range, but it was. When we retested years later, our house tested at just over 4. We contacted them again, per their "lifetime guarantee". It was incredibly difficult to get them to come back out. When they finally did, I ended up paying for additional work (despite the guarantee), and the levels did not change at all. I couldn't get them to return phone calls, so I eventually hired another company to come out and test. The other company drilled holes to show that the system wasn't properly working. I paid the other company another $800 to fix the system. Subsequent tests have shown that the levels have now dropped to below 2 pcl in winter, much lower in summer. (So clearly, the other company was able to remediate the problem. This company just did not want to spend the time to do so.) We lived many years with the faulty system that these folks installed, not knowing that it wasn't working properly. I'd felt that a company run by an engineer/scientist would be the best choice, but I was sorely disappointed. It's especially frustrating to see a business that is playing with people's lives. Radon is a health threat -- and I unknowingly exposed my children to high levels for years because this company did a poor job.

I think this company depends on the people who work for them. Pete was great. He was professional, made some cost saving recommendation (like unblocking the vents going out of the crawl space). He was prompt and personable.
