I called Floor & Kitchen in Sterling, VA based on their positive reviews on Checkbook. I was promptly given an appointment for an in-home visit. Ray visited our home, took measurements and discussed various options for the type of flooring we wanted for our basement. He invited us to visit his showroom to look over various products they had on display. We took home several samples to see how they would look in our basement. Ray was a real pleasure to work with. He answered all our questions promptly. We selected LVP to replace the existing carpet in our basement. We decided to go with Floor & Kitchen. The installation team showed up on time, they were very professional and kept the work area clean. They consulted us on our preferences as well as advised us what will look best in terms of installation. The work was completed on time and workmanship is of excellent quality. We are very pleased with our new flooring and highly recommend Ray and his company Floor & Kitchen for any flooring project.

Ray was fabulous to work with from start to finish and was always available to answer questions and ease any of my concerns. His price was very competitive for the project. In addition, Floor & Kitchen was one of a handful of companies willing to remove porcelain tile in my kitchen prior to installing LVP throughout my condo. The team arrived daily at the expected time and cleaned up at the end of each day's work. They did a great job installing the LVP and I am very happy with the result.

From my first call to Ray at Floor & Kitchen to the follow-up call following installation, he was terrific. I reached out to him based on the 89/89 recommended reviews and he did not disappoint. He helped me navigate a solution to our need for new basement flooring. At my request, he provided me with several options, prices, and combinations to consider and we could not be more pleased with where we landed. We now have a beautiful new, made-in-USA Mohawk LVP floor in our basement/rec room/home gym area. His crew worked all day and did a terrific job - including problem solving one area that Ray had flagged might pose a challenge. There were no surprises about cost, scheduling, process, etc. Ray was great at communicating throughout the process and I would definitely use him again!
