After our dishwasher broke one morning, flooded our kitchen floor and then collapsed the basement ceiling below the floor, we thought our home would be a mess for weeks. We called United Water Restoration Group of Fairfax and they were on site by 1pm, worked all afternoon cleaning up water, sheetrock, flooring, etc, then set up many industrial fans all around our basement and kitchen, and finished by installing heavy plastic barriers all around the impacted areas. They were gone by 7pm. The following 2 days someone came by to check on the progress of getting things dried out and on the 3rd day they removed everything, double checked all the areas with gauges to be sure everything was safely dried out, and then cleaned up the remaining areas. Thanks to the prompt and thorough job of UWRG of Fairfax we were able to have sheetrockers, painters, electricians, and flooring guys in 4 days after the incident. They were the best!

United Water said they work with our insurance company so we wouldn't have out of pocket expenses. Since their costs were 20% above market value for this area, we had to pay the additional cost since insurance wouldn't cover their higher prices. Insurance said they would cover it if they could justify their higher price, they couldn't. We should have gone with ServiceMaster that our insurance company recommended. Our neighbors went with them and their cost was fully covered (20% less than ours).

As a Plumber it’s so important to have a fantastic team to recommend when customers call and are in a terrible ( water/mold) situation. UWRG of Fairfax is just a class company who every time goes above and beyond for customers !! Highly Recommend !!
