First thing, I am a real person living in northern VA. These days there are way too many fake reviews. This company did everything right. I got an estimate quickly, with two levels of hardware. The other company I found priced the exact same job over $4,000 higher. They scheduled the work quickly and we now have a new HVAC system at half the price we budgeted (you can ignore the high prices listed on the Trane website). Quick response, great price, a crew that all spoke English, fast to schedule, and a satisfying buying experience. Get a bid from this team. You will not regret that decision.

After getting a couple estimates from highly rated HVAC installers, I chose Northern VA Mechanical Services. We asked the owner to come and explain the estimate he emailed to us, and he carefully reviewed the options he chose versus other alternatives offered by Trane. He was honest and straight forward in what he thought the value was of the various alternatives. In the end, we decided to go with a slightly upgraded model that we thought was better for our upstairs needs. (No upcharge on his part, totally our decision). It took a couple of weeks to get on their busy summer schedule, but our a/c was still working so no problem. It took them about 6 hours to install and it has run perfectly through the rest of a very hot summer.
