Chose this company based on many positive reviews. Called for repair at 2 pm, couldn't give accurate date/time then but texts back at 2:30 pm saying he could be there in 20 mins. Stelios diagnosed problem quickly, discussed options to repair or replace heat pump, called suppliers for parts and pricing, replaced the fan and capacitor and added refrigerant in about an hour. Very personable, small business owner who takes pride in his work. So I highly recommend this company for any HVAC services.

Stelios installed a new variable speed blower motor in 45 minutes at a very fair price. Excellent communication skills. Unlike another company, he came, did the work, no complaints. Superb. I recommend him highly.

Stelios advised against purchasing a high end heat pump with lots of bells and whistles due to its lower reliability and value. It felt like he was counseling me like a friend on making the best replacement decision rather than trying to squeeze me for money. Will definitely favor Neighborhood Specialists for my future HVAC needs.
