This is the third year since 2020 I have had them out when I've had problems with my heat pump. They've always diagnosed the problem and fixed in a timely manner sat a reasonable price.

During the recent cold snap, one of our furnaces quit working. A couple of places said they could not get to us for a week or more because of the number of calls they had received. Called Neighborhood Specialists because of their rating in Checkbook. One of the owners listened to my description of the problem and said he thought he knew what was going on and told me he was waiting for parts on another job he was doing not very far from me. He came right over, pulled the part out of his truck and 45 minutes later, I had heat. Any future problems I have with heating/cooling, Neighborhood Specialists will be my first call.

I had Stelios and his team install a new gas water heater in my utility room and a new mini-split system in my sunroom. I chose Stelios after getting three estimates. Surprisingly, all three bids for the water heater install were about the same but Stelios' estimate included the best brand of water heater, an expansion tank, and new gas shutoff valve. For the mini-split install, Stelios was by far the cheapest and more than a thousand dollars lower than the next estimate. Great communication throughout the process. I was given an appointment for the install and Stelios and his team showed up on time and as scheduled. The water heater and mini-split installation went smoothly. The quality of the work is outstanding, especially the plumbing work for the water heater. The team was careful not to make a mess and left my home as clean as when they started. I was very impressed with Stelios and will absolutely without any hesitation recommend him to everyone.
