Replaced a 24 year old Furnace and Air conditioner. We were having problems with heating the upstairs on the left side of the house, and cooling the entire upstairs (80 degrees in Summer). Bid a two stage system (trane) and ran a new line from the main trunk in the attic to the bedroom on the left side of the house. Was the only people who directly addressed the problem, and we now have cooling upstairs in the summer. Have since used them for rental properties.

Reported a problem with unknown cause of black dust coming out of the air vents. Fairfax Cooling and Heating could have just come out, checked the furnace, and left (which is what another company did). Instead, they did an initial furnace and air quality check, conducted independent research on possible causes, worked with me on a series of actions to take, and ultimately the source of the black dust was found (it was fire soot left in the air ducts by the previous unit owner).

Great same-day service, even in the middle of a heat wave. Interaction with the company was excellent, from the initial phone conversation with a helpful and pleasant person, to the service provided by business owner Miki, who repaired a malfunctioning heat pump. I also appreciated Miki’s observations on how to make the cooling system run more efficiently. I recommend this company without reservation.
