Not knowing prices of other companies, it is difficult to rate Prices. I have had refrigerant added twice in the past two years, and it is difficult to figure out why it is so expensive. In Bowman's visit, the technician explained where the leak was, while during an earlier visit by a different company, the technician said there was a leak "somewhere" and it would be over $300 to check for it. We plan to have the leak repaired.

I looked into this company after seeing an ad in local Lifestyle magazine. First thing that intrigued me was their comprehensive services to include heat pumps (I'm curious about CCHP). "But, the ad said "We WILL BEAT any other company's installation & repair price." OK, that's an indicator on the Better-Faster-Cheaper scale (pick one, maybe two but you don't get all three). The kicker was seeing their website services for Duct cleaning based upon their recommendation. Total deal breaker. They may be competent in HVAC but I'd rather do business elsewhere.

I texted them about an urgent problem, and a technician was at my house within 30 minutes, on a holiday weekend. The problem was diagnosed & repaired, and the charge was very reasonable.
