We got estimates from three companies. Capital Insulation was the only company that came to our house to do the estimate. The owner came on a Saturday to do the estimate. We had a nice chat with him and he told us what he found in the attic and what he would do around the sky light. He said he was scheduling two weeks out. He sent an estimate to our e-mail. His estimate was the best of the three. He started and finished in two weeks. The crew cleaned up all their material. The bill was sent by email, too. No add-ons to the estimate. We would recommend this company.

As others have said, Karl, Kyle and the team are top notch. Karl provided a detailed quote with several options and was very quick to respond to questions. The team did a meticulous job cleaning and sealing everything before blowing in the R49. They also pointed out that some of the ceiling drywall upstairs was pulling away from the joists. (When our house was built, they didn't use drywall screws, just glue and nails). They provided a reference for someone to redo sections of drywall before they came back to finish blowing in the insulation. All-in-all, an excellent contractor.
