We have had our oak strip floors refinished twice before on the first level, and never upstairs. The stairs leading to the basement were scarred and dinged from things being bumped down them. Not wanting to risk damage or mistakes, we had Hatcher's refinish all our floors. Shannon was wonderful to deal with and tolerated multiple emails at odd hours and on the weekend. The floors look better now than they have ever looked. This is as close to a perfect job as I have ever seen. We could have had the job done for considerably less, but in this case it was not worth risking over-sanding or inconsistent finish. I have had the neighbors in and check the work and they agree, the workmanship is first rate. I marked Hatcher's adequate for Prices as the quote was higher, but I had requested water based polyurethane, low VOC and knew that the expense would be higher and take longer. Totally worth the expense and I hope the new owners of our home appreciate the work.
